Long Tan 1966You see, there comes a time to tell . . .

When war Veterans need to speak and tell their own stories – it is about Vets talking about their experiences out loud.

The old tradition was never to talk about it; to bury the memories because they are too painful and too shameful to discuss.

But nowadays things have changed and I think they should be encouraged to get their past out in the open so that they can turn over a new chapter in their lives.

Long Tan 1966There is no shame if a soldier cries on your shoulder.

And if you try to understand the depths of that person’s soul you will always want to help.

No man is an island, and no man or woman should ever cry on their own.
