On the principal of ‘I, me’ they don’t consider that their actions and their consequences in life are of their own making.
They think that everything that has gone wrong in their lives is because of someone else – the person who betrayed them; the one that let them down, the one who deceived them, the one who fired them from their job.
Life is not about blaming others. It is about accepting and learning from our mistakes, and going on from there. We are all human beings.
Life is about trying, and accepting responsibility for our own actions. It is about struggling to live in a competitive world to make a living; and to feel a sense of satisfaction at the end of each day, and ultimately at the end of our lives.
Because if we have not tried honestly as individuals we have simply failed. And this sense of failure is like a disease that eats your mind and body over many years.
The fact of life is that we are born into this world as individuals, and then we grow and learn about our world with love and help from our parents and our family and friends.
No-one ever promised there was a ‘silver spoon’; that you don’t need to try and work hard and suffer along the way to lead a happy life.
So, count your blessings; not the negative things in your life. Open the windows wide and look with fresh eyes, and you will see a new world that will amaze you.
